ESU1 SSB Lawn Mower MF Battery

Match the 196 × 132 × 159mm case and 185mm total height, LUG terminals, assembly 1 layout and hold-down to your equipment. Check seat or cover clearance and make sure the cables reach without stretching or crossing.

Check polarity before ordering. With the terminal edge facing you, ESU1 has the positive terminal on the left. ESU1R has the opposite layout. Confirm against the battery's + and − markings rather than relying on a photo angle.

This is an engine-starting battery, not a replacement traction battery for an electric mower or a deep-cycle power supply. Your exact equipment model and installation determine the correct battery; do not assume compatibility with every mower, tractor or truck.

Options for delivery outside the Sunshine Coast, urgent replacement or old-battery disposal must be confirmed before ordering. Need help with a return or refund? Call us on 0484 851 167 to discuss your options.

Maintenance-free means no water top-ups, not no care. SSB identifies this model as flooded lead-acid, not AGM. The mower range is filled and heat-sealed at the factory. Keep it upright and secure, protect the terminals, and follow the battery and equipment instructions for handling, charging and installation.

Use charging equipment suitable for this 12V maintenance-free flooded lead-acid battery. SSB lists a 2.8A minimum charge current but does not state a maximum on its current ESU1 page. Confirm the correct charging profile and current limit for the supplied battery before use. The listed 65°C maximum temperature is not a charging-temperature instruction.

For seasonal storage, follow the mower and charger manufacturers' instructions and check charge condition before returning to use. Work in a well-ventilated area away from sparks and flames, and use an appropriate battery recycling service for the old unit.

SSB's current Lawn Mower warranty guide lists:

• Private starting use: 12 months.
• Commercial starting use: 12 months.

SSB provides an equivalent replacement for qualifying manufacturing faults within the applicable period, after assessment and with proof of purchase. Manufacturer cover is for the original end user; transport to and from SSB testing centres is at the customer's cost. Replacement does not restart the original warranty.

Exclusions include incorrect application, flat batteries, normal wear, physical damage and incorrect charging. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply in addition to the manufacturer warranty and are not limited by these terms.
