How to choose your battery

  • Match the footprint: case size (L×W×H), terminal type/orientation and hold-down/strap clearance.
  • Match the spec: CCA requirement for your bike and charging system compatibility.
  • Cross-reference: look up your OEM/Yuasa size (e.g., YTZ, YTX, YT series) against the SSB lithium equivalent.
Charging & care (important)
  • Use a charger/alternator that is compatible with LiFePO₄ starting batteries.
  • Avoid automatic rejuvenation/desulphation modes (not required for LiFePO₄).
  • Follow the manufacturer’s charge voltage/current limits and storage recommendations.
