Installing your battery in the Suncoast Smart Battery Box is simple and takes just a couple of minutes. Your battery instantly becomes a portable power station, with all ports, chargers, and accessories working straight from the outside of the box. Just drop it in, connect the terminals, close the lid… and you’re powered up.

1. First, place your 12V or 24V battery inside the box, making sure it sits flat and secure.
2. Next, connect the internal red cable to the positive (+) terminal and the black cable to the negative (–) terminal — the box is already pre-wired, so there’s no complicated setup or tools required.
3. Once the terminals are tightened, close the lid, lock it down, and you're ready to go with instant portable battery power !

This Smart Battery Box comes pre-wired with a range of inputs and outputs to make power management easy:

External + / – terminals for high-current, direct connections (inverters, jump leads, etc.).

Quick Connectors (compatible with Anderson-type plugs) for:

Charging the internal battery (solar, DC-DC, chargers).

Powering high-draw appliances (fridges, ovens, compressors).

Digital voltmeter – quickly check your battery voltage at a glance.

2 × USB ports (5V 2.1A & 1A) – ideal for phones, tablets, GPS, cameras.

12V cigarette socket – run coolers, lights, pumps and other 12V accessories.

16A resettable circuit breaker switch for USB & 12V socket protection.

Safety & Overload Protection

The Suncoast Battery Box is designed with built-in protection to help reduce the risk of electrical damage:

• Fused 50A quick connectors help protect high-current circuits from overload or short-circuit.
• 16A resettable circuit breaker protects the USB and 12V cigarette socket outputs.
• External + / – terminals are unfused for direct high-current connections – external fusing is recommended when connecting large inverters or similar loads.

Compatible Battery Types

This battery box is designed to fit a wide range of 100AH 12V and 24V batteries commonly used in camping, 4WD and marine applications.

Battery group sizes: Group 24, Group 27, Group 31.

Chemistries:

12V AGM deep cycle batteries

12V Gel & flooded lead-acid deep cycle batteries

12V automotive & marine starting batteries

12V LiFePO₄ lithium (within physical size limits)

Can be used with 12V or 24V systems, depending on how your batteries are configured.

Important: Battery is not included. Always check your battery dimensions against the internal size of the box.
